The Asian Poker Tour (APT) is Asia’s largest poker tour and has been in operation for three years running since 2008 when AsianLogic acquired the name and event. Previous APT’s have been held in the Philippines and in Macau.

The APT 2009 just wrapped this past January in the Philippines and will now turn toward to the future as several online poker rooms have confirmed they will hold qualifiers to the summer event happening in Macau from August 12th to 23rd at the Galaxy StarWorld Hotel and Casino.

The APT was in fact so popular this past January that the summer event has been extended from six days to twelve days and will include and great range of events for all tastes.
