The company OLG and Niagara Casinos’ service provider MGE Niagara Entertainment Inc. have announced the opening of a new 5,000-seat venue at Fallsview Casino Resort that will be named OLG Stage at Fallsview

The new venue is CAD$130m with all seats no more than 150 feet away from the stage.

OLG is excited to have partnered with Mohegan to provide a better entertainment experience for visitors.

OLG has provided leadership in developing a facility which will benefit the people of Ontario, and this building is a great demonstration of what OLG intends to do.

Peter Bethlenfalvy, the minister of finance in Ontario, stated that the gaming and entertainment sector has a proud history in Niagara region, and it plays an essential role in the economy.

“…I congratulate OLG and Mohegan on their partnership agreement. This will benefit the city, create jobs, and help Niagara Falls grow….”

The casino in Ontario was coming along and had plans to open, but the first show was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Government restrictions on opening kept the casino closed until July 2021 and they had to close again in January 2022.

The Fallsview Casino is the biggest casino undertaking in Canada. It features over 3,500 slot machines, 130 gaming tables, and 372 hotel rooms with a deluxe spa and fitness centre.
