Pokerlistings.com and Betfair Poker have announced their co-sponsorship free roll tournament. This tournament will have guaranteed total prize money of $24,000. The tournament is open for players registered on Betfair Poker through PokerListings.com. The players need to earn 1000 Betfair points between April 1 and June 30.
The winner of the tournament will be eligible for a package that includes participation in the 2008 World Series of Poker Europe tournament and will be receieve £10,000 for the entry fee plus travel and accommodation for the tournament. Also an extra sum of $6,000 will be spread out among the players.
According to Jan Lindhout, press secretary for Pokerlistings.com, said that the Betfair site is the only place where players can qualify for the WSOPE tournament. He went on to say that players registered to the site are guaranteed to win extra money and the launch of this new tournament proves that.
