PartyPoker.com has announced that five amateur online poker players will be given the chance to compete at the Poker Nations Cup in Cardiff.
The site that is licensed at Alderney and Gibraltar has announced that its VIP online qualifiers will be competing along with some of the countries best online poker players at this tournament.
The tournament will feature teams consisting of 6 players from Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Sweden, Holland and the United States. These teams will compete in both group and individual events. All teams will be competing to win the first place prize of $100,000.
Except for the United States where online Poker is not legal, each team will consist of one amateur and 5 professional players. The professional players will pay $5000 each to compete.
All participants will be competing in six individual rounds, where each player will try to score points for their team. The prize up for grabs is $20,000!
