The tournament, the AUFA Charity Xmas Bonanza, is set to run Saturday at 7:30pm EST at UltimateBet.com. Annie Duke will also be taking part in the No Limit Hold’em tournament with all buy-in proceeds (100%) being donated to AUFA.
AUFA is an organization bringing awareness and funds to the humanitarian crisis in Darfur, Sudan. AUFA also hosts a land-based tournament each year. This year saw several celebrities at the event and was hosted by both Annie Duke and Don Cheadle. The tournament in 2007 raised over $700,000 in funds for AUFA.
