A Greek player who goes by the screen name, The_Fisherman_9 has qualified for this years World Series of Poker (WSOP) main tournament while playing at the Full Tilt Poker free rolls which is exclusive to PokerListings.com. The Greek player is a 23 year old student of trade and advertising while also working as an insurance agent.
The_Fisherman_9 has been an avid poker player for about three and a half years. He started playing poker when he had seen a few videos of major tournaments and now he plays every day, with four to five days of play at Full Tilt Poker each week. Speaking about the site, the winner said, “The site is well known and is a host to a large number of players.”
After collecting the necessary 300 player points during one week to qualify for the WSOP free roll, the winner ended up being one of 108 players who qualified and played in the free roll, which awarded him a $12,500 WSOP prize package, plus $3,000 for the rest of the prize pool.
The final of the free roll was between the winner and another player called TheDoud. The winner finished off TheDoud in a hand where he raised three times the big blind from the button with pocket sevens. TheDoud called from the big blind, and they saw a flop of 7-K-3.
The_Fisherman_9 thought that this was probably his biggest win so far. He will now be busy preparing to take on the WSOP Main Event in July.
