Online gambling group, PartyGaming, may be bought out by Las Vegas Casinos.
During the iGaming conference in Barcelona, Chief Executive Officer of PartyGaming, Mitch Garber, made the announcement, stating that the online gambling group would like its buyers to be from a major casino in Las Vegas.
Since the passing of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, the company has been though some difficult times especially after pulling out from the American market.
When PartyGaming was in it’s prime, they made almost $10 billion solely from their American customers, and since that time, they have only brought in $2.5 billion, which is a massive dip.
Mitch Garber stated that he believed PartyGaming would be a great venture for a Las Vegas casino wanting to enter the global online stage.
Currently, PartyGaming and The United States Department of Justice are in discussions about the company’s activities in the US before their departure.Until they have come to a resolution, any casino or buyer interested in PartyGaming will have to wait until the talks are finished.
Only time will tell if PartyGaming will be bought out by a high rolling Las Vegas casino, or if they will remain as they are right now.
PartyGaming’s holdings include PartyCasino, PartyPoker, PartyBingo, PartyGammon, Starluck online casino, Planet Luck online casino and Gamebookers.
