Zynga is one of the biggest online gaming developers in the world, with millions of players logging on to Facebook to access the company’s games every year. After seeing tremendous success with its Zynga Poker brand, there is much speculation that the company may be interested in entering the real-money online gambling world.
Recently, Zynga Poker has announced the real of a new Casino series of games, the first of which is online bingo. Although the games have initially been advertised as play-money titles, industry experts are sure that Zynga will soon offer play-for-play versions of the games.
“I think it’s actually a very interesting opportunity, because we’re in an unique position”, says a spokesperson for Zynga. “We have the world’s largest online poker game and the most social online poker game we’ve been running for four years”.
Experts in the field are also confident in their predictions as Zynga has recently hinted that it is looking at partnering with other companies in order to explore the online gambling world. If this is the case, Zynga Poker could change the face of the online casino market, introducing a new social aspect to internet gambling.
