First Legal Online Gambling Site Launched in The United States

For years now, individual states have been looking for ways to circumvent the American online gambling ban (UIGEA), but it is only recently that the state of Nevada has successfully done so. Now, Cake Gaming and the Atlantis Internet Group have announced their plans to become the first company to offer the first legal online poker room in the United States.

While most American poker fans have been getting their fill from internationally-based sites like Poker Stars and Party Poker, the new Lucky Room Poker websites presents a newer and safer option. Previously, financial institutions blocked players from depositing and withdrawing money from these sites, as they were blocked by the UIGEA. Now, players no longer have to worry about their funds being frozen or having restricted access from their favourite online gambling websites.

Donald Bailey, CEO of Atlantis Group, has noted why the new online poker room will be a huge success across America. He says:
“Players throughout the 30 states that offer Indian Gaming will now be able to play poker online with other US players in a safe environment with all the perks and excitement found at any online gaming site!”

Lucky Room Poker operates along with Indian Gaming Organizations, which are legal in various states across the country. This is certainly the loophole that politicians have been looking for, and it will be interesting to see the increase in online poker players in America.
