Everest Poker to Sponsor St. Maarten Open

Everest Poker has announced that it is going to sponsor the St. Maarten Open which will be hosted in the Caribbean this fall. The best way for players to qualify is through the Everest online poker room. The tournament will take place Dec. 2-4.

The Everest St. Maarten Poker Open will include a $3,000 buy-in main event that will be directed by Thomas Kremser and will be played at the luxurious Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino. The 534-room hotel where the event will be taking place is built on 10 acres of beachfront property and is one of the most famous resorts in the Caribbean – perfect place to play some poker and escape the winter blues.

Everest Poker, which was the sole table sponsor at this year’s World Series of Poker, will be offering exclusive satellite tournaments that will start Sept. 28. It will host a total of seven direct-entry tournaments on Saturdays at 3 p.m. GMT. The direct entries will be for $100+$9, with satellites as low as $3+30¢. Players will win $6,500 packages, which include the $3,000 main event buy-in plus $3,500 for travel expenses.
