Disney Online is pleased to announce the launch of Pirates of the Caribbean multiplayer online game for Mac OS X and Windows users.
The Pirates of the Caribbean game is based on the popular movie, and now players can be taken on a wild adventure, exploring the world and beyond.
You will have the opportunity to create your own pirate, captain, ship, and assemble a crew of pirates. The game allows you to interact with characters from the movies like Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann. You can hunt for treasure, forge alliances and battle the undead!
Players get to battle with weapons such as grenades and pistols, and can unlock more powerful weapons as they increase their reputation.
You can also earn extra money by competing in parlour games like poker and blackjack, hunt for buried treasure and find money in rare items.
Pirates of the Caribbean Online system requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4.6 or later (the game’s Leopard compatibility status is unknown at this time, G4 or later (including Intel), 512MB RAM, 700MB free hard disk space and broadband Internet connection.
