Many online casino operators and senior employees are looking at the numbers that this year produced to forecast for next year’s numbers and reflecting on the type of year that the online casino industry had this last year. Throughout the recession and all the other things that have happened this year it was a good year for online casinos overall.
The year has not yet come to an end but many are predicting a strong finish. Perhaps not as strong as last year but definitely a year where the players grew membership for many online casinos and the online casinos still made much more than they spent to net a positive outcome for their finances.
This can’t really be said for many other industries and the outcomes of their numbers for 2009 as most industries really suffered due to the economy of this year so looking at the grand picture and taking everything outside of what the online casinos could control into account the companies that function within this industry actually did really well!
It will be interesting to see what happens next year with all the competition, with the passing of the bill in the US (if it ever passes) and with all the changes that are hiding behind corners that we don’t even know about at this time. But for this growing industry it is safe to say that they are here to stay and more growth is scheduled for the years to come!
