Clover Rollover Slot at William Hill Casino Tops Two Million Dollars

The UK based online gambling operator William Hill has announced that the Clover Rollover virtual slot has topped two million dollars for the first time. The jackpot has been attracting players from around the world. It also revealed that the jackpot was never won since it made its debut in March 2007 and this has resulted in the jackpot amount being so high.

To win the jackpot, a player must bet the maximum two-dollar per line stake and then win five lucky shamrocks on one line. The jackpot also has many smaller prizes available that include a $20,000 reward off 20 cents per line stake where players increase their chances by playing up to five lines on each spin.

In other news, the online bookies have announced that they will sponsor, for a three-year period the Lincoln Handicap which was inherited following their acquisition of Stanley Leisure. The £100,000 Lincoln Handicap which was traditionally hosted at Doncaster, will be hosted at Redcar this year. This has been necessitated due to the 18-month redevelopment of the South Yorkshire venue. The card will also feature the Hills-sponsored Brocklesby, Spring Mile and Cammidge Trophy.

William Hill Director of Racing and Public Relations, David Hood said: “We are happy to renew our sponsorship of the race, which we sponsored till 1997. The redevelopment of the old venue has meant that the three day event would have to be broken up. This has been prevented due to the help we received from Redcar and the event can now be held on a single day.”
