BC residents can look forward to tomorrow’s grand opening of the Chances Chilliwack entertainment venue. The Great Canadian Gaming Corporation says it is preparing for the grand opening performance of Canadian rock icons Chilliwack to kick off the launch.
Vice President of Communications, Entertainment, and Responsible Gaming Howard Blank says the excitement surrounding the launch is exhilarating.
“We are thrilled that after ten months of hard work and construction, this wonderful entertainment facility will open its doors.”
Chances Chilliwack will host slot machines, both paper and eBingo games, and an impressive amphitheatre for entertainment purposes. The venue is also home to the trendy, yet casual bar and restaurant called ‘The Well’. The bar has a performance stage that will house live entertainment bands, which will begin with Chilliwack performing a collection of their greatest hits. Blank says The Well will usually be a space for local bands to play their songs and promote themselves, but he says Chilliwack’s grand performance is an excellent way for Chances Chilliwack to open its doors.
“Having Chilliwack perform during the opening weekend is fitting as their music has something for everyone.”
In addition to being a gaming hall and a place for live entertainment, Chances Chilliwack will also provide a community room for local charities and non-profit groups to host meetings. Blank says this is the Great Canadian Gaming’s way to give back to the community, and is something they are very proud to offer.
Chances Chilliwack opens its doors tomorrow night, and suggests people arrive before 8pm when Chilliwack is scheduled to first take the stage.
