Many Hollywood stars and professional poker players will be competing in a game of Texas Hold em for a good cause at the end of the month in January at a tournament that will be held in the popular Commerce Casino in California which is home to many WPT tournaments and a famous destination for poker players of all kinds.

The tournament will begin on January 17th and will start by accepting a 200 dollar buy in. If the player opts to select another $200 than the player will be allowed to have another re buy to the tournament should they require the extra chips or need to start over in the tournament if the are kicked out by another player.

Money raised from this tournament will benefit the Therapeutic Living Centres for the Blind and is likely to be taped and broadcasted on the game show network at a date that has yet to be announced.

Exactly who will be registered in this tournament has not yet been announced but several stars have made the commitment such as Hollywood stars like Brad Garrett, Adam Baldwin and Judd Nelson.

And while this tournament promises to be a hit among several actors and poker stars, everyone is welcome, so if you will be in the California area at the end of the month feel free to come by and register for this charitable event that promises to be a good time and could be lucrative for some lucky players as well.
