Online Lottery Tickets Bill Supported by Senator Barney Frank
Introduced in January by Massachusetts State Senator, Michael Rush, a bill that would allow the Massachusetts Lottery Commission to sell lottery tickets online that could be paid for by credit cards. If the proposed bill goes through, it is projected that revenues for the state could increase by up to $1 billion annually.
