Friday, May 30th, 2008Titan Poker, which is the largest online poker room on the iPoker Network, has announced that it has dealt its Billionth Hand on May 27. It also announced that a player named “wootrigged” who belonged to Finland won a prize of $55,000. The Billionth Hand promotion, which was launched by the website a number of weeks ago, awarded players sums that exceeded $420,000 in prizes. The countdown of the billionth hand started when the 950,000,000th hand was dealt. Lots of dollars in cash were awarded to players daily as Titan Poker neared its gigantic billionth hand.
Players were able to track the progress of the countdown by logging onto the Titan Poker software, or onto the Titan Poker website. Members of the site also received regular updates of the countdown progress. The day the hand was dealt, the players involved were immediately informed when they started to play on a winning hand.
The site continuously awards its players with large cash prizes. The online poker room is presently awarding $3,600,000 to players at the second European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP II). The website regularly awards its players with seats for major poker tournaments like the European Poker Tour and the Aussie Millions. In a few months the site will be sending its players to the World Series of Poker 2008 in Las Vegas, and the Asian Poker Tour in Manila.
